Under the direction of Robert Capanna and music direction of Tammy Hampshire, the Kiski Area High School Musical program has provided thousands of students with the opportunity to explore their passion for the performing arts, both on stage and off. Each year, students are involved in all facets of the production, including sound, lighting, choreography, set construction, makeup, costume design, publicity, and special effects, in addition to performance both on stage and in the orchestra. Students from our program have gone on to study the various facets of theater at schools such as Point Park, Carnegie Mellon, and NYU.
Being involved in a KAHS Musical allows students to experience the creative process from start to finish, and to have a vested interest in all aspects of the final production. If you are a student, and wish to get involved with the show, remember that you do NOT need to be a performer in order to contribute. We are always in need of dedicated students who can lend their talents backstage. For those interested in performing, auditions are typically held in November or December, and will be announced via Good Morning Kiski.
If you are not a student, but are interested in making a financial contribution via a program advertisement or a donation, please contact .
